LOADCENTRE

Loadcentre Final MCB SPN & TPN Distribution Boards, are wall mounted, sheet steel clad systems with Isolator, RCCB & MCB incoming options.

They are available in Standard or Split Busbar versions and are type tested to BS EN 61439-3. In addition, Row Type DBs are also available.

The Dorman Smith Loadcentre distribution system includes a versatile range of MCB distribution boards and components for constructing comprehensive SP&N circuit management solutions. The system is designed for applications demanding up to 125A incoming and 63A outgoing capacity and the distribution board conforms to EN 61439-3 requirements.

The array of circuit devices includes an extensive range of MCBs, RCBOs, RCCBs and switch disconnectors.

The system ensures simple configuration and quick installation as demanded by today's new and retrofit, commercial and industrial applications.

MATERIAL SPECIFICATION:

Enclosure is formed from 1.2mm sheet steel
Distribution board has IOOA rated, tin-plated busbars
Busbars are formed from hard drawn, high conductivity copper, grade CIOI ETP
Paint finish is 50-75 microns epoxy powder coating in light grey RAL 7035 gloss

Distribution boards provide from 6 to 22 outgoing ways
Incomer can be double-pole switch disconnector up to 125A or double-pole RCCB up to IOOA

Included within the Dorman Smith Loadcentre range of distribution systems is a family of horizontal or 'row type' enclosures that provide a versatile choice of MCB circuit management solutions. The system caters for applications requiring up to 125A incoming and 63A outgoing capacity. Both surface mounting and flush mounting versions are available. The distribution boards conform to EN 61439-3 requirements.

The selection of circuit devices includes MCBs, RCBOs, RCCBs, and switch disconnectors. Single-pole and triple-pole devices can be used together within the same board.

The distribution boards conform to EN 61439-2, 3. Both surface mounted and flush-mounted versions are available.

The array of circuit devices includes an extensive range of RCCBs, MCBs, RCBOs and MCCBs. The system ensures simple configuration and quick assembly for new and retrofit installations.

MATERIAL SPECIFICATION:

Enclosure is formed from 1.2mm sheet steel
ASTA certified busbars, 10kA for 250mS (2x10x2mm) and 17kA for 250mS (3x10x2mm)
Busbars are formed from hard drawn, high conductivity copper, grade C101 ETP
Busbars are tin plated
Paint finish is 50-75 microns epoxy powder coating in light grey RAL 7035

AVAILABLE OPTIONS:

Standard provision for 4 to 16 outgoing triple pole ways
Boards have standard width (430mm) and depth (115mm)
Incomer can be switch disconnector, MCCB or RCCB
Outgoing ways can be configured with 6kA or 10kA-rated MCBs, or RCBOs

Earth and neutral bars provided on each side of the board (16mm2 cable size)
Neutral/earth terminal close to phase terminal for ease of cabling

Dorman Smith offers a wide range of Miniature Circuit Breakers with high breaking capacities.

A comprehensive range of Residual Current Devices with or without overcurrent protection is also available. Devices are engineered for multiple applications such as lighting, power & motor protection. Devices are tested and ASTA certified in the Dorman Smith Loadcentre Busbar system.

MCBS - MINIATURE CIRCUIT BREAKERS:

MCBs comply with BS EN 60898 with current ratings from 1A to 63A and short circuit ratings Of 6kA and 10kA to suit different prospective fault levels. MCBs are available in IR 2P, 3P and 4P versions with three types of tripping characteristics B, C and D offering a flexible solution for commercial and industrial applications.

RCBOS — RESIDUAL CURRENT CIRCUIT BREAKERS WITH OVER-CURRENT PROTECTION

RCBOs comply with BS EN 61009. Dorman Smith RCBOs combine the over current and short circuit protection features of the MCB with Residual Current protection in a compact single module unit providing complete protection. Current ratings are from 6A to 40A in B and C tripping characteristics with short circuit capacity Of 10kA. Residual Current protection levels of 30mA for personnel protection and 100mA for plant protection.

RCCBS - RESIDUAL CURRENT CIRCUIT BREAKERS:

RCCBs comply with BS EN 61008. RCCBs are available in 2P and 4P versions with current ratings of 40A, 63A and I00A. Residual Current protection levels of 30mA, 100mA and 300mA are available. Time delay devices are also available for applications where nuisance tripping is common.
